Seven Rock Estate triathletes entered the Norwich Triathlon on Sunday 5th July.

The high quality Olympic distance Race had 260 competitors going off in 3 waves
Liam Gentry was first home for Rock Estate finishing 7th overall in 2hr 6m 25s. This included the best bike time of the day. Mark Drake, competing in his first Olympic triathlon put in a great time finishing 28th in 2hr 15m 59s. Tim Earl was next coming 56th in 2hr 22m 58s. Lee Bircham, also in his first Olympic distance race, had a good race to finish 97th in 2hr 29m 39s. Julian Church, 126th in 2hr 33m 59s, had the misfortune of puncturing half way round the bike course.

The standard distance race had 86 competitors going off in 2 waves. Richard Smith put in a great performance finishing 3rd overall in a time of 1hr 13m 42s. Aaron Gentry finished 31st in 1hr 24m 56s.
