Skandia Team GBR and Rock Estate Double World Champion Nic Asher is racing in the 2009 Sailing World Cup series.
Nic and Elliot Willis are competing in the Olympic 470 class.

20th-28th June 2009 - Kieler Woche Regatta in Kiel, Germany
Nic Asher and Elliot Willis won the bronze medal in the in the Kieler Woche Regatta, the 6th race of the Sailing World Cup. Due to light winds at the start of the week only six races were possible with Nic taking 4th place in the medal race and 3rd overall. Nic and Elliot are now setting their sights on defending their World Championship title at Copenhagen in August.
The sailing week at Kiel in Northern Germany comprises Over 5,000 yachtsmen and women, 50 countries, 2000 yachts, dinghys and surfboards, almost 40 sailing events, and more than 400 planned regatta starts on ten race courses.

27th-31st May 2009 - Delta Lloyd Regatta at Medemblik, The Netherlands
Nic Asher and Elliot Willis narrowly missed out on a medal at the Delta Lloyd Regatta – the fifth leg of the ISAF Sailing World Cup.
The duo went into the medal race of the 470 men’s event in 4th, but were unable to get into the bronze medal place during the three lap final and had to settle for 4th place overall.
'We’re disappointed not to have got a medal today, We were pretty fast, but just not really race sharp at the moment.' Asher said afterwards.

18th-24th April 2009 - Semaine Olympique Francaise Regatta at Hyeres, France
Nic Asher and Elliot Willis, racing in their first regatta of the year, finished in 6th place overall in the 470 class at Hyeres in the South of France.
