Lee, Liam, and Tim competed in the Diss Duathlon on Sunday 5th April 2009. The race was a 5k run, then a 30k bike ride, followed by another 5k run to finish.

Liam finished in 6th place overall with a time of 1hr 31m. Tim came 21st in 1hr 38m, and Lee finished 37th in 1hr 42m.

Liam produced the 2nd fastest bike leg by some margin storming round in a superb 46 mins, and his bike time was only beaten by the eventual winner.

The race was run in almost perfect sunny conditions. The only mishaps being several calf cramps, and Lee's tube exploding in transition before the start!
