Lotus Race 6: Simon Asher and Liam Gentry entered the sixth race in the series. Once again the rqace rolled out with a few attacks but nothing getting away. At the 20 minute mark the full track was opened which marked an attack by 3 riders who got away for a number of laps with the lead getting out to 40 seconds. The group fueled by Liam, Simon and Phil Hetzel reduced the gap and caught the break setting it up for a bunch sprint. Simon managed to come through the field to 5th and Liam finsihed close behind in 6th. |

Lotus Race 5: Simon Asher and Liam Gentry entered the fifth race in the series. The race went along with relatively nothing happening the group seemed happy to chase all attacks including a lap and a half of Simon and Chris Bartlet around 10 seconds up the road. As the bunch came round on the final lap Simon attacked with about 1km to go. As he was caught and the pace slowed Liam attacked in a good piece of team riding and looked like he would get to the line but ended up a creditable 3rd. |

Lotus Race 4: Simon Asher and Liam Gentry entered the forth race in the series. The pace started relatively slow then Joe Skipper tore up the field taking a three man break including Simon away. Simon was unable to hold on so dropped back into a smaller group which ended up as 8 people who eventually sprinted for the line with Simon rolling in 7th. |

VC Baracchi 10 Mile Time Trial Championship: Liam Gentry and Simon Asher rode in the time trial at Earsham. Liam did a superb 21m 37s to become club champion, with Simon also riding strongly taking 2nd place in 23m 03s. |

Beccles Road Race: Simon Asher, Liam Gentry and Joe Skipper rode in the 81 mile race on the roads around Beccles. Liam put in a strong ride to finish just outside the top 20. |

2009 Tour Series Milton Keynes Round 1: Joe Skipper riding for the BMC UK Racing Team (and Rock Estate!) rode to a superb 10th place in the first of the city centre races that form the cycling Tour Series. The field included many of the best British elite riders, such as Olympic Champion Ed Clancy, who were riding for professional teams. See TV highlights on ITV4 on Friday 22nd May at 1900 hrs. Lotus Race 3: Simon Asher and Liam Gentry entered the third race in the series. Both boys were riding really strongly and were in the thick of the action. Simon broke away on his own with about 2 miles to go but couldn't quite hold on and was caught by the peleton with 200 metres to go. |

Lotus Race 2: Simon Asher and Liam Gentry entered the second race in the series. Simon got away in a group of six, but missed out of a top 5 finish after puncturing again on the last lap. Liam picked up a point coming in 10th. |

Lotus Race 1: Simon, Liam and Joe all entered the first race in the series. The race started badly for Simon, who punctured on the first lap, and was forced to pull out. Liam stayed in the main pack, and was forcing the pace along at the front. Joe was part of a breakaway of seven riders near the end of the race, and finished strongly to win well. Liam came home in the main peloton. |

Simon rides in the VC Revolution 60 mile Road Race at Peldon in Essex. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th Cat race being part of the Eastern Road Race League. Simon tried to break away a couple of times during the race and finished in 17th place after a bunch sprint. |

The gruesome twosome on fire at Hog Hill. Simon comes 2nd and Liam 4th in a photo finish in a closely fought 4th category race. They both become 3rd Category riders. Well done boys! Click here for results. |
